How to make your own face scrub!

Natural moisturising face scrub

As the winter months progress my skin seems to be getting worse and worse, dry patches and redness have taken over my face. So, I really wanted to find something moisturising and soothing to revive and repair my skin in the winter months. I have put together a few different ingredients (which you can find in your kitchen cupboard!) that are known to have great benefits for your skin. My skin felt so soft and smooth after this I really do recommend you try it!  Use this every other day or once a week (depending on your skin type) for best results.

What you need:

  • Fine grain sea salt

  • Almond Oil and/or Grapeseed Oil

  • Nutmeg

  1. Cleanse your face with water

  2. Mix all the ingredients in a small tub/bowl using a small spoon.

  3. Use only a small amount and start dotting the mixture in the different areas of your face such as forehead, cheeks, nose and chin.

  4. Use your fingers and gently rub the mixture in a rotating motion.

  5. Wash you face to remove the mixture.

About the ingredients:

Sea salt- Detoxifies and bring your skins natural oils to the surface.

Almond Oil- Softens your skin by helping it keep its natural moisture balance.

Grapeseed Oil- High in anti-oxidants and great for getting rid of spots and blemishes.

Nutmeg- Removes blemishes and acne scars.

Best way to curl your hair! (includes step by step video)

This is such a quick and easy way to curl your hair, I can’t believe I only recently found out about it! If you do try it I recommend you do it with slightly damp hair and I mean to the point where your hair looks dry but feels a little damp still. That way your curls will hold better the next day. I hope you like the step by step video/slideshow that I made to show you how to do it. Enjoy!
